About the event

There's something different about a lever machine. The tension of pulling the handle. The patience it asks of you. The extraction it gives in return.

On Sunday, April 26th, from 12pm - 4pm, we're bringing five of them together for one very special day. Lever Forever is a celebration of one of espresso's most enduring and expressive brewing methods — the lever. For this event we will be featuring two vintage machines — a recently restored 1961 La Marzocco Mondial, one of the earliest lever designs to come out of La Marzocco in the 1950s, and a 1950s Faema Veloxtermo. The Veloxtermo is an iconic wall mount machine, designed to save space, and was primarily used in Italian railcars. These historic machines will be making coffee alongside three remarkable modern lever machines, the Montreal-made Lapera, the La Marzocco Leva, and the Pull, designed and made in Washington state. Each one is a testament…
