About the event
The Bakke Coffee Museum is pleased to be offering an exclusive screening of the documentary film Women and the Wind, about three women's epic journey across the Atlantic on an old catamaran. The film is about following the call of the ocean, following the call within oneself, and seeking to raise awareness about the vast amount of plastics that are being deposited there. Before the feature presentation we will show a short Seattle classic, "The Addict", about a newcomer to Seattle who finds himself getting addicted to espresso. The Addict has amazing footage of Seattle's historic coffee scene. The films will begin at dusk, but the Bakke Coffee Museum will be open to guests starting at 7pm. The films will be shown on our outdoor screen. Please bring your own seat, but be courteous of your neighbors as space is limited.
